I recently read 'This Is How It Always Is' by Laurie Frankel. Published in 2017, this book came onto my radar after reading Frankel's 'Family Family.' The novel tells the story of a midwestern family of seven: Mom Rosie, Dad Penn, and five kids.

My choice for Adventures in Bookclubbing book club was 'New Boy' by Tracy Chevalier. It is a retelling of Shakespeare's classic tragedy 'Othello.' Set in the 1970s, it takes place on an elementary school playground throughout the course of one school day.
